Off to a great start at Lincoln!

Here at Lincoln:
-We are proud to be a California Distinguished School.
-We are a "bully-free" school.  That means that everyone is asked to participate in keeping Lincoln bully free.
-Lincoln's mission vision belief and motto are in alignment with the moral imperative of educating our youth in Safety, Respect, Learning New Things Everyday, and Good Citizenship.
Plans for the 2011-2012 school year include:
-High expectations for California Standards
-High expectations for all of our students to become proficient in Academic English Language.
-Integrating Fine Art standards in a way that supports building student capacity for listening, speaking, learning, and supporting of the acquisition of Academic English vocabulary.
-Letting our community know how great we are here at Lincoln
I encourage all of the Lincoln Community to review the high level of expectations explained in our school handbook.  We have a Standard of Conduct which explains our progressive discipline.  The Lincoln community thanks our students and parents ahead of time for understanding that unsafe disrespectful and/or bullying behavior will be addressed with appropriate consequences which may include a parent conference and student's loss of school privileges.
Parents, teachers, and students can all work together to help Lincoln shine by:
-Be a Lincoln Hero.  Tell us when there is someone who needs help.
My goal is for everyone who visits my office feels Heard, Secure, Respected, and Loved.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Montaine, Principal
